Commencing his shaping apprenticeship in Whangamata, NZ way back in '74, Brett Munro's journey as a craftsman of custom surfboards has taken him all over the south pacific in search of the knowledge that give his boards a special something that keeps surfers stoked and coming back for more.
Forty-plus years and fifteen odd thousand boards later, the passion and dedication to his craft has solidified Brett as one of the most respected and trusted shapers in the industry.
Over the years, the style of surfing has changed considerably, often reflecting advances in the design, materials and manufacturing methods of modern surfboards.
